Acknowledgement of Traditional Owners of Bega Valley Shire

I would like to commence by acknowledging, on behalf of Bega Valley Shire Council the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters of the Shire – the people of Yuin nation and show our respect to elders past and present.

3.    Staff Reports -  Infrastructure Waste and Water

3.1	Bruce Steer Pool Accessible Ramp
	A motion was moved by Crs Nadin and Griff 1.    That Council receive and note the information in the report. 2.    That Council consider the Options presented in the report. 3.    That Council endorses Option 5 which involves – with endorsement from the funding partner – finalising an agreed design for the accessible ramp element of the project prior to seeking alternative funding to deliver the works at a future date. 4.    That Council receive a further report on non-fixed alternatives. The motion was put to the vote and it was LOST In favour:             Crs Nadin, Griff and Dodds                                  Against:                  Crs Fitzpatrick, Bain, Seckold and Allen A motion was foreshadowed by Crs Bain and Fitzpatrick 1.    That Council receive and note the information in the report. 2.    That Council endorse Option 1 – to proceed with the ramp construction as quoted. The motion was put to the vote and it was CARRIED In favour:             Crs Fitzpatrick, Bain, Seckold and Allen Against:                  Crs Nadin, Griff and Dodds
