Mr Patrick Dickson

Murrah River Action Group

(Authority Received)

Face to Face

I will be speaking on behalf of the Murrah River Community and articulating

objections to the BSC DA Modification. We have already submitted a petition to

council with 125 signatures of residents who live within a 5km radius of the BSC

activities. The community want to have their voices heard with regard to intrusive

noise and the dangers of contamination from the accumulation of lead shot in the

environment

2

Mr Gary Pearse

Murrah River Action group

(Authority Received)

Face to Face

I will be discussing the need for a more comprehensive and accurate site and adjoining land environmental impact study for both soil contamination and noise pollution (both Db and duration). Furthermore, I will comment on the inconsistencies by council in policing the Gun Club events Vs other activities in the Bega Valley Shire.

Mr Manfred Gegg

Self

Face to Face

Once more we have to fight four our right for peace and quiet – to fight against being driven from our homes due to diabolical gun fires which are far over the permissible decibel levels.

We agree with Council’s recommendation to grant us the extra days shooting but disagree with the amendments.

2

Mr Tony Crome

I wish to outline the impacts that a denial will mean to my, a shooter who is pushing for representation in the NSW Sporting Clays squad.  I also wish to address the council on the complaints as while I don’t understand X number of decibels I attended the Winery, Murrah and Barraga Bay and 4 Winds three times - once NE breeze, once when it was still, and once when there was a 10-15 kph southerly breeze and what I experienced..
