Ms Catherine Marsham Item 8.1 – Manufactured Housing Estate and 21 lot subdivision for lease purposes, Village Street, Cobargo |

Non-attendance |
I am opposed to the development mainly due to the number of
lot divisions (21) on such a small plot. It is not in keeping with the
Village of Cobargo. Having tight housing so close to the pub is also
concerning. |

Mr Scott Herring Item 8.1 – Manufactured Housing Estate and 21 lot subdivision for lease purposes, Village Street, Cobargo |

Face to Face |
The development has merit but should be resubmitted in a more sensitive, respectful format. The proposal would be more widely accepted by the community, and would fit better into the village, if it were lower density and provided homes of a better standard. |

Mr Martin Hogenboom Item 8.1 – Manufactured Housing Estate and 21 lot subdivision for lease purposes, Village Street, Cobargo |
Self |
Face to face |
I do not believe this development suites the village ethos
of Cobargo. High density housing in close proximity to the Cobargo Hotel is
not ideal. If a reason for passing this development plan is to help people
displaced by black summer, more effort should have been made to assist those
people rebuild. |
Mr Herring was granted a 2 minute extension.
Mr Armstrong was granted a 2 minute extension.
