Ms Jo Dodds Item 8.1 - Implementation of the BVSC Climate Resilience Strategy and BVSC Clean Energy Plan - Progress report |
On behalf of Bushfire Survivors for Climate Action |
Face to Face |
I will address the report in light of the urgency of climate action by BVSC. I represent an organisation with several hundred members who have been impacted by climate disasters - bushfires and floods. Our members do not want to see other people go through what we have endured. We understand the urgency for action at every level of government. We urge BVSC to do more than note this report as many of the actions therein will not only save money for council but may also save lives. |
